Today, I wanted to focus on essential supplies for teaching math.
Math is starting to be a big part of our homeschooling as Monkey is starting 4th grade this year. We started using Singapore Math last year (California-style) and will continue it this year. But there is a lot more to learning math than just the textbook. We use a lot of math supplements in our homeschool.
Add these math challenges to your list of fun math activities for kids!

Our Favorite Math Curriculum
Singapore Math (we currently use this)
Math Mammoth (what we used for K and 1st grade- it was good, but was harder to find than I liked)
Math-U-See (we would use Math-U-C if it wasn’t DVD-based and it it was a little less expensive. It is an excellent program)
Verbal Math (we use ours like a supplement, but it covers everything you need to know for the year)
Our Favorite Math Apps
We love our math apps! See our favorite 10 here.
