You know how we love thematic units. My daughter, Bo, is in her last semester of preschool, which means she’s all about those letters.
Magnetic letters are a staple of any preschool and kindergarten classroom, but sometimes, using them the same way every time can get boring.
Instead of using magnetic letters to just stick to the fridge and spell words like “butt” (a favorite with my kids), try using magnetic letters in these creative ways instead.
This magnetic letter matching game will keep kids occupied without the need for teacher assistance, and the simplicity of this activity makes it perfect for literacy centers!
All you need is our printable and some magnetic letters and you’re ready to go!

Fill a jar with magnetic letters and close the lid.
Shake the jar to mix up the letters.

Color it in on the sheet.
Repeat until all letters in the alphabet are found!
Make it more challenging by only using lowercase letters in the jar. See if the kids can match the lower case letters to the uppercase letters!
