Directions to Make the R is for Racoon Craft
Use the letter template to cut out the letter R onto brown paper. I just used construction paper, but you could also use cardstock.
Each kid will need one set of what you see below. Two triangles make ears, a light brown oval makes a face, a dark brown oval with stripes makes the tail, and two googly eyes make the eyes, obviously.
Use the picture below as a guide for making your racoon letter craft. It just needs to have the essence of a racoon, not necessarily look super realistic.
Add details with a marker, and glue on too googly eyes to complete your racoon alphabet craft.
Glue everything together and display the racoon with pride!
Kids will have a lot of fun making and displaying these alphabet animal crafts in the classroom or to take home.
For extra stability, you can glue the letter to another piece of paper, or you can just leave it as-is and have it be a little extra floppy.
