Looking for a summer STEM calendar? This summer STEM activity calendar has over 30 projects to transform your summer into a summer of STEAM!
It’s hot outside and summer is here.
Does that mean kids should just watch TV all day?
Of course not!
But if kids aren’t inspired or excited, they won’t want to do anything but play video games all day.
Inspire your kids to do fun hands-on STEAM activities with a summer STEM calendar!
Kids will have a blast with these projects, and every single one of these activities have been tested and approved by my own kids (2nd and 8th grade).

How to Maximize Summer Learning
Kids won’t want to learn on their own during the summer if they can avoid it.
But if you make learning activities fun, kids will be on board.
That’s why I like to do hands-on STEM activities in the summer that are fun, colorful, and have impressive results.
We don’t focus so much on doing official science experiments with the entire scientific method during the summer. Instead, we focus on how science and STEM can be fun, cool, and colorful.
This helps sustain a child’s interest in science even through the slightly boring tests and assignments they will get in school.
