- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Googly eyes
- Construction paper
- Marker

Directions to Make the U is for Umbrella Bird Craft
Use the letter template to cut out the letter U onto brown paper.
The umbrella bird is a complete piece that isn’t part of the letter.
Each kid will need one bird, one beak, one foot, and one googly eye to complete the umbrella bird.
Arrange the pieces of your umbrella bird as shown in the image below. Glue everything together and then glue the bird onto the side of the letter U.
Isn’t this the cutest little letter U umbrella bird that you’ve ever seen?
If you want to strengthen your letter craft, you can glue it to a piece of construction paper or cardstock paper, or you can leave it floppy and send it home or display it just like that.
